Solar Electric Fencing in Hyderabad, Telangana & AP

A solar energizer delivers a short, safe, high-voltage pulse that deters intruders and stray cattle without mains power — ideal for perimeters where running a cable is impractical.

Quick answer

Eagle Solar Systems installs solar-powered electric fencing from 100 m boundary walls to multi-kilometre perimeters across Hyderabad, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The system runs on its own solar panel and battery, needs no mains connection or electricity bill, and includes an alarm, energizer and statutory warning signage. We have completed over 15 km of fencing including a 1.2 km perimeter at My Home Krish and 1,200 m at Chilkur Balaji Temple.

What the service covers

Perimeter survey & zoning

We walk the boundary, mark gates and corners, and split long perimeters into zones so a fault in one stretch does not disable the whole fence.

Solar energizer & battery

Pulse energizer sized to perimeter length, with its own PV module and sealed battery for several days of autonomy through cloudy weather.

Wall-top or standalone posts

Galvanised posts with UV-stable insulators on compound walls, or independent post lines for farm and open-land boundaries.

Alarm & monitoring

Siren, indicator panel and optional GSM alert so a breach or wire cut is reported instead of going unnoticed.

Gate integration

Underground crossings and spring-gate handles so vehicle and pedestrian gates stay usable without breaking the circuit.

Safety signage & earthing

Statutory warning boards and a proper earthing grid — the part cheap installers skip, and the part that makes a fence both safe and effective.

How it works

Our six-step process

  1. 01

    Boundary walk

Perimeter length, gate count, terrain and existing wall height are recorded.

  2. 02

    Zone plan

Long perimeters are divided so faults are isolated and easy to trace.

  3. 03

    Energizer sizing

Joule rating and solar/battery capacity matched to length and vegetation load.

  4. 04

    Post & wire installation

Posts, insulators, HT wire runs and gate crossings installed to line.

  5. 05

    Earthing & testing

Earth grid, voltage test at the far end, and alarm trigger verification.

  6. 06

    Training & handover

Security staff briefed on fault-finding, vegetation clearing and reset.

Zone count depends on gate positions and vegetation, not only on length. Perimeters with heavy seasonal growth need more zones so a single grounded wire does not drop voltage across the whole fence.

FAQs

Solar Electric Fencing — common questions

Is solar electric fencing safe for people and pets?

Yes, when installed to standard. The energizer delivers a very short pulse of high voltage at extremely low current, roughly one pulse per second. It causes a sharp, memorable shock but is not designed to injure, which is why it is used around homes, schools and temples. Correct earthing and statutory warning signage are part of every Eagle Solar installation.

Does it work at night and during power cuts?

Yes. The fence runs on its own solar panel and battery, so it operates independently of the grid, through the night, during power cuts, and through several consecutive cloudy days on battery reserve. That independence is the main reason farms and gated communities in Telangana prefer solar energizers over mains-powered units.

What maintenance does a solar fence need?

Mostly vegetation control. Grass and creepers touching the live wire drain voltage and are the number one cause of a weak fence. Beyond that: quarterly panel cleaning, an annual battery health check, insulator inspection and an earth resistance test. All of it is covered under our annual maintenance contract.

Can it be installed on an existing compound wall?

Yes, and that is the most common configuration for gated communities in Hyderabad. Galvanised angle posts are anchored on the wall top with insulators carrying four to eight live and earth wire lines above the existing wall, adding height and deterrence without rebuilding anything.
